Usha Narayanan
Usha started learning Bharatanatyam at the age of 7 under the tutelage of guru Shri. Palghat Chandrasekhar in Chennai, India, and continued for about 8 years. Later she was on a long hiatus from Bharatanatyam to focus on academic and family pursuits. On relocating to Sammamish, WA, with a rekindled desire to dance again, she joined From Within Academy. She successfully completed her arangetram under guru Subhashini’s guidance and feels fortunate to continue her training under her.
Usha finds great pleasure in dance and feels that it is a very creative way to express one’s emotions. Additionally, the spiritual aspect of this dance form draws her to it. It has become very much a part of her life now.
